  • Student Visa or Tier 4 (General) Student Visa can be applied to study in the UK if you are 16 years and above. The eligibility criteria for student visa in the UK is:

  • You must have received an offer letter for a full time/ part time/ foundation program/ english language course from a licensed student sponsor or a recognized university
  • You must have sufficient funds for tuition and living expenses.
  • You should be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Evidence of consent from parents if you are 16 or 17.

  • Visa Application Process

    The UK student visa can be applied by two processes- either from inside the country or from outside, however, the application and decision time will vary accordingly. The application process is strictly online. You should submit all the documents, attend the interview and prove your identity at a visa application center after submitting your application.

    Cost of Studying in UK

    The cost of studying in the UK is a combined value of your tuition fees and living expenses. The course fee will depend on your level of study and the choice of your program. However, research shows that Medical courses are most expensive while humanities and similar courses tend to be markedly cheaper.

  • Undergraduate Tuition Fees- Around GBP 10,000- 40,000
  • Postgraduate Tuition Fees- Around GBP 9,000- 35,000

  • Living Expenses

    The current UK visa regulations require you to have a minimum of GBP 12,276 per year in your bank account to stay in the UK. This amount goes well if you plan to stay outside London as the expenses in London are little on the higher side, at least GBP 16,008 per year.

    Amission Requirements for Study in UK

  • For UG courses, a high school diploma or equivalent with A- levels/ IB or other acceptable grades from a recognized university in specific subjects
  • For PG courses, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required from an accredited educational institution with a GPA of at least 3.0 or above.
  • English Language Proficiency Tests-
  • IELTS- 6.0 or above
    TOEFL- 80 or above
    PTE- 50 or above
  • Acceptable Entrance tests- GRE/ GMAT/ SAT/ ACT etc. depending on your choice of course and the level of study.
  • Post Study Work Opportunities

    The UK gives you an opportunity to stay and work in the country for 2 years after successfully completing your course through the Graduate Visa. Students holding PhD or other Doctoral qualifications can stay up to 3 years. The graduate Visa cannot be extended and you’ll be required to apply for another suitable visa in future.
